"New" kitchen floor

While I am looking for a great new job I have some time to take on a new project!
Our kitchen floor has been the most hated part of our house for 10 years and we have looked into having it replaced multiple times.

In researching stencils for wall painting (a project for another day!) I discovered you can stencil floor tile!
I purchased a number of stencils, tried them out, researched paint and landed on:
Marbella Stencil from Royal Design Studio
Prime with Zinssers BullsEye 123
Epoxy-Seal paint (tintable!)
Clear-Seal to seal the paint afterwards
First prime!

Two coats of primer!
Were I to do this again, I would paint the grout and paint the tiles immediately. By waiting between the steps there was a real difference between the painted on paint near the grout and the rolled on over the tile.
Next, Apply the base coat

This is only the first coat of two. I did the "paint grout, roll tile immediately" this time around.
Once the base coat is done, let it dry completely.
Let's start stenciling!

Right around here I realized I was going to need "partial" stencils, so I found some thin plastic and made some copies of the stencil for the part tiles around the edges.

Added the brown flowers

and the light blue circles and "leaves"

Finally the white stars
Then do it all over again two times on the other sections of the kitchen!

Finally, clean the whole thing as it got a little grimy in the spots where we walked then seal!

It looks like a whole new kitchen!
